With his trademark 12-string Rickenbacker guitar and sweetly soaring voice, Byrds leader Roger McGuinn pioneered folk rock, psychedelic rock, and country rock, influencing artists from the Beatles to Tom Petty to R.E.M. McGuinn continues to tour and record, playing concerts to sold-out venues across the U.S. and around the world.
