Prior to their late '60s reign as Washington, D.C.'s leading exponents of psychedelic rock, not to mention the hairiest freaks south of the Mason-Dixon line, the Fallen Angels ruled the nightclubs in our nation's capitol as, well, the hairiest R&B dance band on the planet. In 1966 (and despite outweird appearances), they catered to a very un-psychedelic college set on the bustling, draft beer au go go club circuit centered around Georgetown's M Street.
