Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Buckin' the establishment!

Perennial trailblazers whose electrifying Bakersfield sound topped the country charts for most of the '60s, Buck Owens and the Buckaroos plowed even newer ground with the 1971 album Bridge Over Troubled Water. Bridge finds Buck and the boys giving a big thumbs-up to the thoughtful folk-rock sound of Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and Donovan. Bridge saw heavy chart action, justifying Buck Owens' desire to roll with the times while also detailing his conversion from chart-topping country artist to Country Music Hall Of Fame shoo-in. This title was orignally personally selected for reissue on Sundazed by Buck himself! We miss you Buck!
